Delete your account
You can delete your Togged account and the data tied to it at any time. You do not need the mobile app installed to do it.
If you can sign in
- Sign in at togged.tv/sign-in.
- Open Settings and scroll to Danger Zone.
- Choose Delete Account and confirm by typing your username.
Deletion runs immediately. It is not a deactivation and there is no waiting period or recovery window, so there is nothing to cancel afterwards.
If you cannot sign in
Email us from the address on the account and ask for deletion. Include your username so we can find it.
What deletion removes
Your sign-in credential, and the records tied to your account: profile information, watch logs, reviews and ratings, your clips, follows, blocks, likes and reactions, notifications, reports you filed, consent records and daily usage rows.
Comments you left on someone else’s review or clip have their text and your name removed. An empty placeholder can stay in the thread so that replies underneath it still make sense, but nothing of yours remains in it.
What can remain for a while
- Your uploaded avatar. We try to delete the file, but storage cleanup can fail and a direct image URL may keep working. Tell us if it does.
- A session on another browser or device, which is not centrally revoked today and may be treated as signed in until it expires, up to 30 days.
- Backup copies from successful runs, for up to 90 days.
- Sign-in data held by Firebase, which its own documentation puts at up to 180 days after we ask for removal.
Section 8 of the Privacy Policy is the authoritative version of all of this, including the cookies that deletion does not clear.
If something goes wrong
Deletion crosses several systems, so a failed step can leave part of a request incomplete. If you see an error, or an old avatar URL still loads, contact support@togged.tv and we will finish it by hand. More ways to reach us are on the support page.
