Synopsis

When modern-day culinary expert Yeon Ji-young is mysteriously transported 500 years into the past with the ancient cookbook Mangun-rok, she crash-lands in the royal hunting grounds and ends up tumbling off a cliff—right in the middle of a heated argument with the young King Yeonhui. As she tends to the injured monarch, her bold behavior baffles the king, but her extraordinary cooking leaves a lasting impression. Struggling to accept her new reality, Ji-young’s fate takes an unexpected turn when King Yeonhui appoints her as the royal chef. The catch?
